Projects and targets (1)

Every five years, a Diocesan inspection of the church buildings seeks to determine what essential repairs will be required in the foreseeable future. The quinquennial, as it is known, is a report that is nervously anticipated by the PCC and church going community. Sometimes the costs of the inevitable repairs and maintenance can be very high.

Recently our latest quinquennial exercise has been completed and this has identified a significant amount of work that will be required over the next 5 years. In the immediate future some £ 35,000 is urgently required to carry out essential work - mainly to the roof (internally and externally).

The PCC is currently considering when and how the other work identified in the quinquennial will be progressed and when plans have been drawn up we shall let you know our targets for 2012 and beyond.
