Looking after a Grade II* listed medieval building is very costly.
The parish of Ockley, Okewood and Forest Green is a relatively small parish in the south of Surrey near to the border with Sussex. It has a total population of between 1,600 and 2000 and has an electoral roll of 118. The parish was formed in 1992 by the merger of two former parishes and it has inherited three churches - each of which requires significant sums to maintain. Whilst those who regularly worship in these churches contribute huge sums to the maintenance of the churches as well as the ministry, the burden of maintaining our heritage should not fall only on those who go to church. We therefore aim to encourage others to give generously to help maintain the church for future generations. Parts of the present building have been with us for some 700 years - let's make sure they are there for another 700 years.
Any help you can give however large or small would be gratefully received - click here to find out more.
